Death
...A morbid word, a morbid topic..Death paints a picture of grieve and despondency. Death is like a short-circuit, it cuts you off suddenly without any prior warning.. It can happen to anyone at any time and place..it hits you when you're least prepared for it. Ultimately death closes the final chapter of your life and begins a new chapter of your life with God in eternity...
Death can be a permanant relief to those who were suffering but would be a torment to the decease's loved ones..Death cut you off from your loved ones.. Death makes you lament about the things you didnt say or accopmplish.. Death makes you realise the vulnerability of life.. Death causes you to cherish the people you love before they are gone for good..
If Death is capable of injecting so much emotions and creating such a stir in us, then why havent we start appreciating our lives as well as others. Why do we even contemplate saying sorry.. Why are we so quick to flare up at the ones we love..Why do we hesitate to say "I LOVE YOU" to that special someone? Why do we reluctantly forgive but never forget the ones who have stepped on our toes? Why have we unmindfully squander our lives thinking there will always be a tomorrow? Why do we wait for Death to strike us before we start reminiscing and cherishing what we have lost? Why hold a grand funeral for the dead ? Is it for the benefit of the deceased os for ourselves.. After all...the deceased wouldnt be able to relish the feast laid out for them..
Death will eventually catch up with us whether we embrace it or not..It's like an impending doom that we have to face but yet we have no antidote against it...Yes..Death shows us how vulnerable life is..BUT it also shows you the tenacity of the human spirit.. How we are able to pick ourselves up and carry on with our lives..
Dont live with the guilt of regret, learn to live to die...At least when the day comes..you can leave knowing you have accomplished your "mission" on earth. By regretting wouldnt resurrect the dead..neither will it attenuate your guilt..
I wouldnt have much regret if i have to go..i have been loved by wonderful people around me..though the love i had was technically wrong..but I'm happy..so goodbye n good riddance... Learn to live to die..never end your life with a sigh....
My Heart will rejoice in your salvation...
My heart is always set on you...O Lord...

Go to Him when you're weary;
He will give you eagle's wings...
You will run n never tire...
For God will be your strength...
To sacrifice your own happiness in exchange for others.. Is it plain stupidity? or is it bravery? I think most would choose the former..I know sacrifices are inevitable and we all have to make them at some point in time..for me..I'm inept in coping with the aftermath of the sacrifices that I make..Now i will just shut my eyes and pretend it's all a dream..hoping that when i awake..i'll still be alive n well..wouldnt i?
Some people sacrifice their happiness so others can be happy..Is that wrong? is it a flaw in the human race or is it actually a gift from above? These people merely want the world to be an inch better than before..Even if it's a baby step, it's still a step nonetheless..We shouldnt denounce it as meaningless..Who can dictate whether the choices people make defines a good sacrifice? To each his own darling...to each his own....But yet humans are in the relentless pursuit to acquire the perfect sacrifice..Why? cos some want to please the entire universe..with God included..Would you categorise them as gutless? or no mind of their own? or no self-esteem? or no self-confidence that they would have to please others because they live for their opnions? I beg to defer...people who make sacrifices like that , do it in hope of achieving happiness in others..when they see that glow in their faces...you can safely say..they can die a happy man...We make that kind of sacrifice with the sole intention of bringing joy to others..
What really constitute a good sacrifice?one that benefits you n you alone? or one that would benefit others?I think it really depends on one's mentality..what i can never fathom is how you have the guts to stand up for what you believe in..i have nothing but admiration for these people...you have the guts..but well these people at times inevitably cause detriment to others..so sometimes...learn to turn back and check..there may be people whom you have left lagging behind...
There is no such thing as the perfect sacrifice..Sacrifices are made in hopes of making the world a better place to live in..Perfect sacrifice only happens when we have achieved the best of both worlds...do we sincerely think we are able to do that? Will perfect sacrifice
EVER
come with perfect joy??....
I dont know if giving up my own happiness is the best option i have..but i know i love my mom so much that i would never want to see her shed a tear.. but yet the urge of wanting to be free haunts me daily...i have to fight off temptations frm day to night n frm night to day..it eats into my dignity..i have no more zest in me to hold my head up high anymore..If the almighty can hear me..i hope He can stretch his hands and save me from the quicksand that im stuck in...im sinking deeper n deeper..
When will he save me from my woes...? When will my salvation come...? When will i be free...? When will i ever see the light...? When will He save my corrupt soul in which no earthly being can cleanse...? When will i ever be as impeccable as the immaculate...? When will my battle be over...? When will i ever rest...? When will i learn not to be impetuous...? When will I learn not to be truculent...?
Speak Lord, yr servant is listening...shower me with yr inordinate love..Save me before the quicksand engulf my SOUL...
I have been waiting and listening.. speak louder Lord..
Speak...Speak...Speak...
O give us eyes to see your glory..
Give us hearts to understand..
Let our ears hear your voice until you come..
